Pearl Sugar Waffles Recipe

Discover our recipe for the famous Liège waffle.

Ingrédients

2 cups of white flour
1 teaspoonful of salt
4 teaspoonfuls of yeast
2 tablespoonfuls of white sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ cups of hot milk
1/3 of a cup of melted butter
1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract

Preparation

Mix the flour, salt, yeast and sugar in a large bowl. Pre-heat the waffle iron to the desired temperature. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add milk, melted butter and vanilla. Pour this mixture into the preparation with the flour, and beat until you obtain a mixture of an even consistency. Pour the mixture into the hot waffle iron. Cook the waffles until they are golden and crunchy. Serve immediately.
